What is your turn around time?

Your photos will be ready in 4 weeks from the time of your session while your wedding gallery will be ready in 10-12 weeks after your wedding date. I know it sucks waiting so I always send sneak peeks within 5-7 business days after your session or wedding!

What should we wear to a session with you?

I recommend no overwhelming patterns or overly bright or neon colors as these can be distracting in your photos. Sticking to more neutrals and earthy tones is most flattering and timeless. Once you’re booked, I’ll send over my ‘what to wear’ guide with all the tips!

Will you pose us?

I love when my couples can just be themselves and do what feels natural to them. If you are looking for dramatic posing, I do not do this. I take a very candid and real approach when I am shooting. I will still guide you through different poses but will do so in a more natural way. All the while encouraging you to just be yourselves!

How do you deliver our photos?

All final images are delivered via an online private gallery. You’ll be able to download in full resolution, share with family + friends, and order prints and albums directly through the gallery.

Do you deliver raw images?

No. I believe editing is half the magic! I promise to only deliver high-res fully edited images.

What if we have to reschedule our session due to bad weather?

Unless it’s -30 or a torrential downpour, I say we embrace what mother nature has given us! Of course, if it ends up being too gross out for us to enjoy ourselves or there’s the possibility of damage to my gear, then we can absolutely reschedule with no rescheduling fee.

Do we meet you before our wedding?

Yes! I think it is so important for us to connect beforehand so we can get to know one another on a more personal level and make sure we’re a good fit. I am with you for your entire day so having someone you feel comfortable with is so important. I do offer a complimentary engagement session with each of my wedding collections, so this is a great opportunity for us to get to know one another more!

What is required to book my wedding?

If you’ve decided on me as your photographer for your special day, I require a signed contract and a 40% non-refundable retainer (50% for elopements and intimate weddings).

Can we bring our dog?

I encourage it.

What time of day do you like to shoot?

Golden hour is my fave hour but I love shooting in all types of light!

Will you alter our appearance when editing?

I will edit out any blemishes or unwanted fuzz or dog hairs that may make an appearance in your photos! But I will not alter body shape or do any drastic editing. Everyone is beautiful as they are!

What forms of payment do you accept?

Currently I accept cash, e-transfer, and credit card.

How do you charge for travel?

I’m based in Calgary, and travel within 100kms round trip is complimentary for both weddings and sessions. If your location is beyond that radius, travel is billed at $0.55/km + GST.

Once you’re officially locked in, we’ll start planning, go over timelines, talk through locations, and create a wedding-day plan that fits you. Photos, logistics, vision — we’ll walk through it all together!
